Toronto Raptors Head West: Training Camp in Calgary, Showdown with Nuggets in Vancouver
The Toronto Raptors are taking their preseason national — heading to Western Canada this fall with a training camp in Calgary and a highlight game against the Denver Nuggets in Vancouver.
From September 30 to October 2, Raptors players and staff will call the University of Calgary’s Jack Simpson Gym their temporary home. It marks the first time in franchise history that training camp will be held in Alberta, offering a fresh experience for basketball fans in Stampede City. While practices are closed to the public, fans can catch their favorite players live during the Open Practice on October 3 — a unique opportunity to witness NBA-level play up close.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there.
On October 6, the Raptors will face off against the Denver Nuggets, featuring Canada’s own Jamal Murray, in an electrifying Canada Series matchup in Vancouver. The game is expected to showcase a loaded lineup including Nikola Jokic, RJ Barrett, Brandon Ingram, and rookie Collin Murray-Boyles — making this a preseason battle no Canadian basketball fan should miss.
Tickets go on sale August 27 via NBA.com/CanadaSeries, with fans encouraged to register for presale access.
“We’re looking forward to being back in Vancouver and showing our support to fans across the country,” said Raptors GM Bobby Webster.
Whether you're in Calgary or Vancouver, it’s clear: the Raptors are giving Canada a full-court press this fall.
